The US administration is trying to reach out to Iran through diplomatic channels and warn of the dangers of escalating tensions in the Middle East, which are not in the interests of any party. This was reported by State Department spokesman Matthew Miller. He also noted that Secretary of State Anthony Blinken discussed with Mohammed bin Tani, Qatar's Prime Minister, and Badr Abdelatti, Egypt's Foreign Minister, issues of de-escalation in the region.
No one can weaken our resolve to punish the aggressor, - stated the spokesperson of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs at a press conference. - Israel must be held accountable for this crime.
