In most parts of Ukraine, a sudden cold snap has replaced the usual spring warmth. This may have a negative impact on early vegetables and fruits, particularly apricots, peaches, and grapes. If measures are not taken to protect against frosts, crop loss will be inevitable. According to experts, due to global warming, apricots are becoming increasingly rare in Ukraine. Grapes will also suffer, as they have already begun to form buds and flowers. Damage may manifest a few days after the frost. Early spring crops are lagging in growth, which may affect their yield. Forecasters predict a continuation of frosts and icy conditions in the coming days.
