Anomalous summer will hit Ukraine: forecasters explained what is wrong with the weather in 2025.

Weather forecast for summer: what to expect for Ukrainians
This year's May surprised Ukrainians with cold weather, but forecasters promise that summer will be warmer than usual. Natalia Golen, from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, noted that cold air masses from the north and northwest have predominated in May. However, this is just a temporary phenomenon, not a lasting trend.
Regarding summer, forecasters predict warm weather with periods of heat, but with fluctuations in temperature and rainfall. Experts confirm the presence of climate change in Ukraine, which manifests in the increase of average annual temperature, changes in the nature of precipitation, and an intensification of dry periods, especially in the southern and southeastern regions of the country.
“Conditions for the formation of convective clouds can be predicted a day in advance, but where exactly such a cloud will form can be tracked with the help of radars and warn about dangerous phenomena over a specific city ahead of Time by 20-30 minutes, a maximum of one hour”
Moreover, the war in the eastern part of the country is also affecting the environmental situation. Fires and shelling at the border lead to an increase in the concentration of harmful substances in the air, which can have consequences for citizens' health. Natalia Ptukha also noted that mobile weather forecast applications may be less accurate, as they use only one predictive model.
Therefore, despite all the challenges, forecasters are doing everything possible to provide the most accurate weather forecast; however, it is important to remember that the forecast is only a probable scenario, not an accurate prediction of the future.
