President Trump proposed a peaceful resolution to the conflict in Ukraine, opening new prospects for Ukrainian politics. In this context, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer spoke about his role in European diplomacy and cooperation with French President Macron. They jointly led the European response to the negotiations between Trump and Zelensky.
'I do not trust Putin, and therefore I approach everything he says with a certain caution... We know what will happen if there are no security measures - at some point he will violate the agreement,' emphasized Keir Starmer.
Starmer noted Trump's efforts to end the conflict and supported the European role in ensuring security after a peaceful resolution. He also emphasized the importance of the 'special relationship' with the USA for the United Kingdom and the significance of cooperation with the royal family. Additionally, the Prime Minister called for strengthening the defense and security of the United Kingdom to ensure stability in an unstable world.
'We cannot only talk about it, it is Time to act,' he stressed.
