The presidents of Turkey and the USA talked about the war between Russia and Ukraine
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and President Donald Trump held a phone conversation in which they discussed the conflict situation between Russia and Ukraine.
President Erdogan supported Trump's initiatives to end the war between Russia and Ukraine
Turkey is also striving for a just and lasting peace and has maintained this position since the conflict began.
Additionally, the presidents discussed the situation in Syria. Erdogan urged the USA to lift sanctions on Syria and restore Turkey's participation in the F-35 fighter program.
Turkey continues to support Ukraine's territorial integrity, although it has not stopped trading with Russia even after the Russian invasion.
