European leaders discussed with Zelensky interceptors of 'Shaheds' and secondary sanctions.


At the NATO summit in The Hague, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with European leaders to discuss strengthening Ukraine's air shield and new sanctions against Russia. Special attention was given to the meeting with the E5 countries and the NATO Secretary General.
During the negotiations, President Zelensky expressed the need to increase pressure on Russia through the strengthening of the energy and banking sectors within the sanctions regime. He also emphasized the importance of cooperation with Northern European countries in the field of Ukraine's defense.
The Ukrainian president stressed the need for support and coordination with partners to ensure the country's security, which is a key task in the context of the escalation of the situation in Eastern Ukraine and the threat from Russia.
