The suspect in the case of beating at the TCС has posted almost a million hryvnias to be released from custody.

The Vinnytsia Court of Appeal changed the measure of restraint for the official of the TCС, who is suspected of exceeding her official powers. Today, April 4, a bail of UAH 908,400 was posted for the woman, and during the investigation, the suspect will not be in custody. This is reported by 'Glavkom' referring to Vinnytsia.info.
According to the publication, this concerns Oksana Yanchak, who was detained on suspicion of beating a conscript.
Earlier, 'Glavkom' reported that the Vinnytsia City Court sent the official of the Vinnytsia Combined City Territorial Center for Staffing and Social Support, Oksana Yanchak, and her accomplice into custody.
It is worth noting that on September 12, 2024, a man who received a summons came to the TCС. He had a valid reservation since he worked in a critical infrastructure enterprise. The man was sent to the deputy head of the center. She began to coerce him into signing the conscript questionnaire and renouncing his reservation. The man refused, and the official struck him and then began to choke him.
In March of this year, employees of the State Bureau of Investigations reported suspicion against the deputy head of the Vinnytsia OM TCС and her former subordinate. Oksana Yanchak has also been suspended from her position.
Analysis:
In recent years, the Ukrainian judicial system has increasingly lost the trust of citizens. This case involving the TCС official is just one of many examples of the powerful influence of the authorities on court decisions. It is critically important for courts to be independent and act in the interests of justice, not politics. At the same Time, this case also indicates the presence of corruption and abuse of power in the field of public services. Greater attention must be paid to the problems in law enforcement and public services in general.
