Canada has imposed sanctions against the coach and lover of Putin.

The Government of Canada has decided to take sanctions against the former president of the All-Russian Federation of Rhythmic Gymnastics, Irina Viner. This means a ban on entry to the country, freezing of assets and restrictions on transactions with local companies for her and her associates.
Anita Anand, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada, stated that these actions are an important signal of support for Ukraine and the unity of the G7 countries. She also emphasized that one of the individuals targeted by the sanctions had ties to the pro-Putin organization 'People's Front'.
This decision reaffirms support for Ukraine in response to Russia's actions and demonstrates the solidarity of the G7 countries on this issue. Sanctions are an additional step towards upholding international principles and supporting Ukrainian sovereignty.
