Catastrophe in Naftogaz: there is no gas or money, but top managers are thriving at the expense of Ukrainians.


Financial crisis in Naftogaz: a billion dollars is needed
The National Joint Stock Company 'Naftogaz of Ukraine' is facing a significant financial crisis, for overcoming which about one billion dollars is needed to provide the country with natural gas, said the head of the Union of Consumers of Utility Services of Ukraine Oleg Popenko.
According to Popenko, Ukrainian taxpayers have effectively saved the state company in conditions of a crisis shortage of energy resources. At the same Time, financial reports show a significant increase in internal costs, particularly for administrative expenses and 'professional services'.
At the same time, administrative expenses are rising by 35 percent for 2024 - that is where bonuses and salaries reside
An additional 1.8 billion hryvnias is spent on increasing administrative expenses, which traditionally goes to paying salaries and bonuses to the management and employees of the company.
Here, obviously, legal and analytical services are laid down, ordered from their own or close companies, this money will go exactly to bribes for politicians and deputies
Popenko called for the liquidation of Naftogaz, claiming that he has no hopes for the members of the supervisory board. Earlier, he also talked about the situation with fake homeowners' associations in the country.
