Ukrainian Soldiers Have Returned Home from Russian Captivity
Petr Yatsenko, a representative of the Coordination Headquarters, reported that as part of the prisoner exchange between Ukraine and Russia, 307 Ukrainian servicemen were released on the second day. He also expressed hope that the planned number of Ukrainians would be released on Sunday.
'Today was the second stage of the exchange. 307 of our defenders, our boys have returned. Tomorrow we also hope that the planned number will return as well. We are working to make this happen clearly, without delays, according to the agreements,'Yatsenko said.
The representative of the headquarters noted that various circumstances affect the exchange process, such as technical malfunctions with transport, health issues of the participants, and other unforeseen situations. He emphasized that Ukraine is always ready to give up all prisoners and retrieve all Ukrainians.
