The legendary poet-singer revealed about the 'harsh' Rotaru.

The People's Artist of Ukraine, Vadim Kriashenko, in an interview with 'Gordon', spoke about the personal life of Sofia Rotaru and her position on the war in Ukraine. He noted that off stage, the singer was very harsh and not as pleasant as on stage. There was a situation when she wanted to perform the song 'White Daffodils', but Liliya Sandulesa also wanted to perform it. Rotaru stated: 'I don't care who performs it. I'm taking it. That's it.'
Moreover, Kriashenko revealed that at one competition, Rotaru helped prevent Sandulesa from winning by putting the jury under ultimatum. This was the reason why Kriashenko does not invite Rotaru to his evenings.
Kriashenko also expressed an opinion about the extreme cruelty of Sofia Rotaru. He heard this from the arranger Andriy Ostapenko, who had previously worked with her. He admitted that Rotaru was a very difficult person and even put her director in prison for fraud.
Attitude towards the country
However, the main factor that determined Kriashenko's attitude towards Rotaru was her attitude towards Ukraine. He noted that if the singer supports Ukraine, she is his colleague. If not, he has nothing in common with her.
In a large exclusive interview with 'Gordon', Vadim Kriashenko spoke about Sofia Rotaru's harsh attitude towards Liliya Sandulesa and shared his thoughts on her attitude towards Ukraine.
