The head of the Center for Counteracting Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Andriy Kovalenko, stated that Russian invaders failed to break through in Dnipropetrovsk region. It is noted that fighting is taking place near the administrative border, and Russian drones are being used near Dnipropetrovsk region, but no breakthrough has occurred so far.

As of today, the Russians have not broken through into Dnipropetrovsk region. Fighting is ongoing near the administrative border, and the Russians are flying into Dnipropetrovsk region with FPV drones. However, there is currently no breakthrough as the fighting is intense.

It was also reported that the Russian army attacked the city of Dnipro on June 28 using a guided bomb capable of flying over 100 kilometers. However, this attack did not result in a breakthrough into Dnipropetrovsk region.

As a result of attempts by the Russian army to break through in Dnipropetrovsk region, Ukrainian defenders managed to hold their positions and prevent the enemy from carrying out aggressive actions in this area. The situation remains tense, but the western regions of Ukraine remain under the control of Ukrainian law enforcement.
