To avoid incorrect billing for utilities, it is important to report reading in a timely manner. This applies to water, electricity, and gas meters.

Regarding electricity, readings need to be reported by the 4th of the new month. If you do not do this on time, incorrect billing may occur.

This can be done in several ways:

• Through the personal account on your distribution system operator's (DSO) website;
• By calling the DSO's contact center;
• Through a chatbot in messengers (Viber, Telegram, Facebook Messenger);
• Other methods suggested by your DSO.

Regarding water

Water meter readings can be submitted in several ways:

• Use the personal account on your water utility's website;
• Use a Viber bot or Telegram bot;
• Call the contact center at (044) 202-0202;
• Visit the Municipal Service Centers (MSC) at 247-40-40 or the Consumer Service Centers of Kyivvodokanal;
• Write down the readings in the payment message field during payment at the banking institution.

Regarding gas

To report gas meter readings, use the following methods:

• Report the readings directly to the gas distribution network operator (oblgas);
• Enter the readings on the website or through the operator's chatbot;
• Call the contact center of oblgas.

It should also be noted that consumers who pay their gas bills on time can receive a 1% discount. The gas tariff with the discount will be 7.88 UAH. For example, if you spent 1000 UAH on gas after the cold snap, with the discount, this amount can decrease to 990 UAH.

According to Naftogaz, there are two simple steps to receive a discount:

• Make full payment of the bill by the 15th of the current month;
• Pay in the personal account my.gas.ua or in the GASUA chat.

'Please note that the discount is not cumulative and is granted in the absence of debt. That is, you must pay the full amount with the cents,' the message states.
