Former US officer who asked Putin for Russian citizenship has died.

Former US Army officer Scott Bennett has died at the age of 46. He had previously reached out to Russian President Vladimir Putin with a request for Russian citizenship. This was reported by Margarita Simonyan.
According to Simonyan, Bennett may have been killed 'for speaking the truth about the conflict in Ukraine.' She also noted that the former officer never mentioned any illnesses and was in excellent shape two weeks ago.
Request for Russian citizenship
On March 24, Scott Bennett contacted Vladimir Putin with a request for Russian citizenship. He expressed a desire to use his diplomatic skills and intelligence experience for the benefit of Russia.
Recall that earlier in Moscow, the press secretary of singer Shaman, Anton Korobkov-Zemlyansky, who actively supported Russia's war in Ukraine, died.
