Popular drugs in Ukraine are available only by prescription.

The Ministry of Health of Ukraine has decided that the drug nalbuphine, used for pain relief, will be available only with the presence of an electronic prescription. This new rule applies to most pharmacies, except for those in border areas and zones of active hostilities, where electronic prescriptions are not issued.
Changes regarding the sale of nalbuphine stipulate that all other pharmacies must sell this drug only with electronic prescriptions. Paper prescriptions remain valid only in exceptional cases. Thus, nalbuphine can now be obtained only with an electronic prescription, except in cases in border areas and conflict zones.
The Ukrainian authorities are changing the rules for the sale of nalbuphine, making it available only with an electronic prescription. This measure helps control the issuance of the drug and the necessary documentation for its receipt.
