PrivatBank to Suspend Operations with Payment Cards: Urgent Appeal.


On the night of June 14, PrivatBank will conduct large-scale technical work to modernize its processing center. Operations with payment cards will be temporarily suspended from midnight to 6:30 AM, the bank's press service reported.
The scheduled work aims to increase capacity and enhance the security of customers' transactions with payment cards. During the period from 00:05 to 6:30 AM on June 14, customers will not be able to make transactions with cards.
This will affect the operation of ATMs, self-service terminals, and POS terminals of the bank, PrivatBank noted. 'Usually, we carry out scheduled work at night when most customers are not conducting transactions. If you plan to make payments with cards during the work period, we recommend doing it in advance or postponing it for a few hours. Thank you for your understanding!' - the bank stated.
According to PrivatBank, the institution's processing center processes more than 3 million card transactions per hour. The technical modernization will increase these figures and strengthen the protection of customers' financial operations.
