Russians used thermobaric munitions during a drone attack on Kharkiv.


The Kharkiv regional prosecutor's office reported that the Russian army used strike drones equipped with thermobaric warheads during the shelling in Kharkiv. This weapon causes a powerful explosive wave and a high-temperature cloud, resulting in significant destruction and casualties among the civilian population.
The use of thermobaric warheads is particularly dangerous and may indicate a deliberate violation of international humanitarian law.
On May 1, Russian drones attacked Kharkiv, hitting a gas station in the Kyiv district, which caused a fire. The number of injured is being clarified, but emergency services are working at the scene.
On May 2, Kharkiv was also attacked by drones, resulting in injuries to nearly 50 civilians. As a result of the attacks, there were many fires and destruction of residential buildings, civilian facilities, and vehicles.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the world, calling for an end to the conflict, stressing that every night in Ukraine becomes horrific due to shelling and loss of life.
