The Russian army shelled Nikopol with artillery: there are casualties.


The occupiers attacked the city of Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region, resulting in casualties. This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak.
In the evening of February 10, the Russian army shelled Nikopol with artillery. According to Lysak, two women, aged 18 and 44, were injured. They are in the hospital in moderate condition and are receiving necessary assistance.
As a result of the attack by the Russians, private houses, a farm building, and a gas pipeline were damaged.
Earlier, on February 9, the occupiers attacked Nikopol. Men aged 41 and 39 were injured as a result of a kamikaze drone attack. One of them has mine-explosive injuries and facial wounds, requiring outpatient treatment. The other was hospitalized in serious condition.
Ukrainian servicemen shot down a Russian Su-25 attack aircraft with an accurate shot from a MANPADS. This was reported by the Rivne Regional Military Administration.
Soldier Pavlo Zhalko from the anti-aircraft missile section found the target and fired from the MANPADS 'Igla'.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrainian servicemen have shot down 369 aircraft and 331 helicopters of the Russians since the beginning of the full-scale war.
In July last year, Ukrainian forces shot down a Russian Su-25 attack aircraft in the Pokrovsk direction. The aircraft was attempting to shell the positions of the Defense Forces units.
Also, anti-aircraft soldiers from the separate mechanized brigade named after General Khorunzhyi Mark Bezruchko destroyed two Su-25 attack aircraft in July.
