Throughout his career, which lasted over half a century, Bohdan Stupka played more than 100 roles in film and on stage. His acting was filled with energy, depth of feeling, and philosophical wonder.

From 1999 to 2001, he served as the Minister of Culture and Arts of Ukraine, putting in maximum effort to develop Ukrainian culture.
