Meteorologists warned Ukrainians about a sharp deterioration in weather.

Ukrainian drivers and pedestrians should be cautious on the roads due to worsening weather conditions. Yesterday, about 30 cm of snow fell on Mount Pip Ivan, and there are strong winds and limited visibility. The State Emergency Service urged to refrain from going to the mountains until the weather stabilizes.

Weather forecast in the regions of Ukraine

According to the Ukrhydrometcentre, frost is expected in the air, on the surface, and icy conditions on the roads in various regions of the country during the night and in the coming days. Different levels of danger have been announced:

• Frost in the air (from 0 to -5 degrees) is expected in the western, northern, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Poltava, Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions, as well as in Kyiv and the region. The danger level is orange;
• Frost on the ground surface (from 0 to -3 degrees) is predicted in the Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions, as well as in the Zaporizhia, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions. The danger level is yellow;
• Ice on the roads is expected in Kyiv and the Kyiv region, as well as in western, northern, and central regions. The danger level is yellow.

The State Emergency Service warned drivers and pedestrians to be careful on the roads and take care of their safety.

Danger of weather conditions in Kyiv and the Kyiv region

In Kyiv, frost in the air from 0 to -2 degrees (yellow danger level) is expected from April 7 to 11. In the Kyiv region during this period, frost will be from 0 to -5 degrees (orange danger level).

Ukrhydrometcentre warns that such weather may damage early-blooming trees and plants.

It is noteworthy that yesterday snow fell in the western regions of Ukraine. Local residents actively shared photos and videos of snow-covered streets, trees, and cars. Meteorologists explain this phenomenon by the influence of a cyclone but expect the snow to melt in the coming days.

In addition, Odesa and the region received their share of snow, which became a big surprise for the residents of this region.
