The Swiss cyber unit made a loud statement about the disclosure of confidential information that tempted Martin Pfister, the country's defense minister. According to the information that became known, Russian special services had access to data from the Swiss intelligence service through the 'Kaspersky' company for the past five years, which caused outrage among Swiss authorities. An investigation into this scandalous case has already begun. For his part, Martin Pfister emphasized the importance of the intelligence service for national security in the face of constant threats from around the world. To prevent similar situations in the future, the government is reviewing proposals from an independent body that analyzes previous incidents and makes recommendations, which include changes in leadership and strengthening control over data procurement. The mentioned scandal highlights the importance of caution in choosing partners in the field of cybersecurity to prevent leakage of confidential information, especially in the presence of possible ties with other countries or special services.
