It is also known that the Pentagon confirmed that the Iranian attack was pre-agreed and had a symbolic nature.

The Pentagon confirmed that Iran struck the 'Al-Udeid' base in Qatar as a 'response, but mainly symbolic' to the US attack that occurred over the weekend.

An official stated that Iran fired medium-range missiles after prior notification to Qatari and American officials.No reports of casualties among American military personnel have been received.
