In Kyiv, 'fair bills' for heat were promised: how it is related to new meters.

The implementation of the program for the installation of new central heating meters continues in Kyiv.
According to Kyivteploenergo, more than half of the 330 new meters have already been installed in apartment buildings, and the rest are planned to be installed by the end of the year.
Overall, 210 meters are being installed to replace old ones that have broken down or were stolen, and another 120 meters will be installed to replace stolen ones.
In the capital of Ukraine, almost 90% of apartment buildings are equipped with central heating meters, making Kyiv a leader in this field in the country
It should be reminded that in such buildings, payment for heat is based on actual consumption. If there is no meter, the governmental Method No. 315 is used.
It should also be noted that Kyivteploenergo conducts annual maintenance, repair, and inspection of meters before the start of the heating season. This year, more than 3100 meters are subject to inspection, and they are already ready for the winter period.
In addition, energy providers have prepared 160 boiler houses and heat supply stations in all districts of the capital, which have already undergone testing and repairs and are ready to supply heat to homes and social institutions.
