Unknown persons set fire to and destroyed the graves of Oleksandr Fedorchak and three occupiers, who was considered a military correspondent for the newspaper 'Izvestia'. A criminal case has been initiated by the occupying authorities. This was reported on the 'Glavkom' website, citing Russian media. There was no security at the cemetery. It is still unknown who was involved in the destruction of the graves, but the occupying authorities have already blamed Ukraine.
According to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, the most severe measures must be taken against the offenders. Let us recall that Oleksandr Fedorchak, a Russian propagandist and correspondent for the newspaper 'Izvestia', was killed at the front in the combat zone in Ukraine. He had been working at the front of the Russian-Ukrainian war since 2022, justifying the Kremlin's aggression. On March 28, Fedorchak was buried in the village of Nizhnohirske in Crimea. He had previously worked as a correspondent for the 'Zvezda' channel, as well as for the 'Krym 24' channel and the Crimean news agency. Earlier, Maxim Yeliseyev, the editor of the Russian propaganda television channel 'Izvestia', was killed. Also, on April 19, 2024, Russian war correspondent-propagandist Semen Yeryomin was killed at the front in Ukraine. By the way, in the Belgorod region, a filming crew from 'Channel One' came under fire. Propagandist Anna Prokofieva was killed, and operator Dmitry Volkov, who was with her, was wounded. It is unacceptable and outrageous, horrendous, and we condemn such actions in the strongest possible terms
