A woman in Thailand sentenced to death for poisoning friends with cyanide
A woman accused of murdering 14 friends by poisoning them with cyanide has received the death penalty in Thailand. She poisoned people since 2015 due to her gambling addiction and theft of their valuables. In 2023, during a trip to Ratchaburi, her friend died after eating, losing consciousness. The court also requires the criminal to pay the deceased's family two million baht as compensation. A former police officer and her lawyer were also convicted for concealing evidence, but they did not admit their guilt.
Cyanide deprives the body of oxygen and can cause heart attacks, such as dizziness, shortness of breath, and nausea.
