Trump reviews deadlines for peace agreement regarding Ukraine, - Reuters.

According to Reuters, two advisers to elected U.S. President Donald Trump stated that a peace agreement regarding the war between Russia and Ukraine could be reached 'in the coming months.' However, they acknowledge that resolving the conflict will take some Time. This has become a test of Trump's promise to reach a peace agreement on the very first day in the White House.
The advisers believe that Trump's promises are a mix of campaign rhetoric and misunderstanding of the complexity of the conflict. Furthermore, time is needed to form a new administration.
These assessments also coincide with a statement from Keith Kellogg, a candidate for special representative for Ukraine, who wants to find a solution within 100 days after Trump's inauguration.
According to former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine John Herbst, even the extended deadline proposed by Kellogg is too optimistic. He emphasized that Trump needs to convince Putin of the necessity for a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
Previous reports indicated that Trump is increasingly behaving like Putin.
