In the Vinnytsia community, an investigation has begun regarding the allegations against a history teacher for beating a student during a lesson. Criminal proceedings have been initiated, as reported by the spokesperson for the Vinnytsia region police, Vadim Kobzar.The incident occurred on April 1, when a tenth grader did not respond to the teacher's comments. The teacher hit the student and used abusive language.Juvenile police learned about this incident the next day. Since then, criminal proceedings have been initiated under the article concerning beatings and maltreatment. Currently, investigative actions are underway, and all participants in the situation are being questioned.According to the words of the director of the city education department, Oksana Yatsenko, the teacher has been suspended from work.Based on this situation, the teacher may face probation or imprisonment for up to five years, or imprisonment for the same period.The incident took place at the Vinnytsia-Khutir Lyceum. Acting director Olena Hrabchuk reported that the teacher had been working at this lyceum since 2018 and had not previously encountered similar conflicts.Despite this, the director noted that the student provoked the teacher. She also emphasized that the teacher has authority among students and colleagues.

Now a student or their parents can fill out a short questionnaire and send an electronic complaint, involving the school's administration and, if necessary, the police in solving the problem.
