The UN High Commissioner for Refugees has offered Ukrainians financial assistance in the amount of 10,800 hryvnias. This program helps people with basic needs for a duration of up to three months. The maximum number of grants for one family is four.
To receive assistance, one must be an IDP for the last 6 months, and not have received payments from the UNHCR or other organizations in the last 3 months. Additionally, assistance can be provided to individuals from categories entitled to aid, such as families with minor children, elderly individuals, people with disabilities, or serious illnesses.
To register, you need to call the UNHCR hotline. You must also have your passport, tax ID number, birth certificate (for children), bank card number, and other documents confirming vulnerability. All family members need to be present for data collection.
If the application is approved, the money will be transferred to the bank account of the head of the family indicated during registration. Monetary assistance can be received through Western Union, Ukrainian banks, or at Ukrposhta or Nova Poshta.
