Ukrenergo responded whether Ukrainians should prepare for power outages in the summer.

The company 'Ukrenergo' assured that this summer Ukrainians do not need to worry about power outages even on warm days when energy consumption is at its highest. They have already completed all necessary repair work to avoid such problems. The company emphasized that their system is ready for any load.
'The repair campaign at major generation facilities was planned to ensure that the energy system is maximally capable of meeting the needs of all consumers,' the company explained.
It is also worth noting that this year there have been no serious cyberattacks on the energy system, as was the case a year ago. 'Ukrenergo' noted that there is currently a risk of returning to hourly power outages due to a limited number of operational nuclear units, but overall the condition of the energy system has improved.'
Ukrenergo has completed repair works and prepared for high demand for electricity to avoid outages this summer. The company also noted the absence of serious cyberattacks on the energy system this year, which increases the overall reliability of electricity supply in Ukraine.
