Ukrainians' favorite drink has become more expensive: how prices for coffee, sugar, and cream have changed.


Ukrainian coffee lovers received unwelcome news in March 2025 - the prices for this drink have risen. This was reported by the Minfin portal.
The morning ritual, which many people consider an integral part of their day, has become a more expensive pleasure. Prices for coffee and related products continue to rise, which greatly concerns consumers.
According to price monitoring in major retail chains, a 210-gram jar of Nescafe Gold rose in March to 408.85 UAH, which is 18.57 UAH (or 4.8%) higher than the February price of 390.28 UAH. The price range in different stores is striking - from 372.20 UAH in Auchan to 445.50 UAH in Megamarket.
Sugar, which is a necessary component for many coffee lovers, is also raising its prices. The average price for a kilogram of crystalline sugar in March was 35.17 UAH, which is 0.57 UAH (or 1.6%) more than the price in February - 34.60 UAH. The high price for sugar in Megamarket is 42.00 UAH per kilogram, while in Auchan, Novus, and Metro it is about 32.90 UAH.
Additionally, 'Prostokvashino' cream with 10% fat content in a 200 ml package has also increased in price, though slightly. The average price in March was 34.46 UAH, which is 1.37 UAH (or 4.1%) higher than the price in February - 33.09 UAH. Prices in different stores range from 32.89 UAH in Novus to 37.30 UAH in Megamarket.
