A mass technical failure occurred at airports in Germany.

A technical failure in the computer systems of the Federal Police in Germany led to flight delays and crowds at airports. The problem affects the passenger screening systems for those arriving in the country. Police officers are forced to carry out many processes manually, as the automated systems are not working. The situation is manageable, but the reasons for the failure are currently unknown.
Long lines have formed in the security zone of Düsseldorf airport, with passengers having to wait up to two hours. Additionally, entry into Germany from non-Schengen countries is currently impossible.
Unfortunately, during the New Year holidays in Germany, five people died due to the negligent use of fireworks. In the city of Gezecke in North Rhine-Westphalia, a 24-year-old man died as a result of a firecracker explosion. The police suspect that the firecracker was illegally manufactured, and other people are not related to this incident.
