The three EU countries with the lowest hourly wages are Bulgaria, Romania, and Hungary.
According to Eurostat data, the costs for employers for hourly wage in the EU and eurozone as a whole increased last year by 5% and 4.5%, respectively. The largest increases were in Latvia, Lithuania, and Croatia, while the smallest were in the Czech Republic, Finland, and Luxembourg.
Recently, in Ukraine, mobilization has significantly impacted the labor market, with employers willing to pay high salaries, but the number of interested specialists was limited.
In summary, Eurostat published data on the level of hourly wages in different EU countries, revealing significant differences. Denmark, Luxembourg, and Norway lead the list with the highest rates, while Bulgaria, Romania, and Hungary have the lowest wage levels. The rise in labor costs in the EU indicates some economic growth in the region, but there is also the impact of recent mobilization in Ukraine.
