Eight months considered missing in action. Let's remember Mykola Kartukha.


Every day at 9 o'clock, Ukrainians honor the memory of all those who died during the Russian-Ukrainian war. Today we remember Mykola Kartukha.
Mykola Kartukha was born on July 17, 1984, in the city of Fastiv. He was one of the twins – he had a sister Olya. After studying at the Zhytomyr boarding school, he became an electrician of electrical equipment at Ukrzaliznytsia. In July 2024, he went to the front as a senior shooter-operator of an assault unit and during the battles in Donetsk, he was declared missing. However, on June 3, 2025, it became known that he was returning home on a shield.
The Chief Commander joins in a moment of silence and honors the memory of all Ukrainians who died during the war, including Mykola Kartukha. Eternal memory to all who gave their lives for Ukraine and its freedom.
