Enemy losses as of July 29, 2024 – General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.


The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has updated the losses of Russian occupiers as of the morning of Monday, July 29, 2024.
Russian losses in the war as of July 29, 2024
- personnel ‒ about 576000 (+1310) individuals,
- tanks ‒ 8356 (+12) units,
- combat armored vehicles ‒ 16103 (+8) units,
- artillery systems – 16010 (+74) units,
- MLRS – 1129 (+2) units,
- air defense systems ‒ 906 (+0) units,
- aircraft – 363 (+0) units,
- helicopters – 326 (+0) units,
- operational-tactical UAVs – 12805 (+39),
- cruise missiles ‒ 2406 (+1),
- ships/boats ‒ 28 (+0) units,
- submarines – 1 (+0) units,
- vehicles and fuel tankers – 21634 (+62) units,
- special equipment ‒ 2690 (+19)
Occupant fleet activity as of July 29:
- in the Black Sea, there are two enemy ships, both of which are carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to eight missiles.
- no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov.
- in the Mediterranean Sea, there is one enemy ship, no carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles.
During the day, the following movements through the Kerch Strait were observed in the interests of the Russian Federation:
- to the Black Sea – eight ships, one of which continued towards the Bosphorus Strait;
- to the Sea of Azov – nine ships, two of which moved from the Bosphorus Strait.
Enemy aviation system losses
On the night of July 29, 2024, the enemy attacked with a guided air missile X-59/X-69 from the airspace of occupied Donetsk region and 10 strike UAVs of the Shahed type from Cape Chauda – Crimea.
Air defense missile units and electronic warfare of the Air Force, mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces were involved in repelling the air attack. As a result of the anti-aircraft battle, a guided air missile X-59/X-69 and nine Shahed-131/136 UAVs were shot down. The air targets were destroyed in the Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Kirovohrad regions.
It is currently the 887th day of the full-scale war in Ukraine.
