Replacement of Oschadbank Cards — Is Remote Reissue Possible?.

In the state financial institution 'Oschadbank', it was reported whether a remote reissue of bank cards is possible in case of expiration from July 2025. In particular, this question is raised by citizens who are in temporarily occupied territories.

As one client who is in the occupied territory noted, he received a notification about the expiration of his card in July of this year. It was also indicated that it is necessary to visit the bank branch in person to replace the card.

He asked for clarification if there is an option to update the card remotely to unlock the account.

'Please tell me what to do for a person who is in an occupied territory? The pension card stopped working as of 1.07. Is it possible to remotely reissue it in a digital card format by calling the hotline from a financial number? What should be done?'

A staff member of Oschadbank's head office stated that due to martial law, the validity of payment cards has been extended until the end of the year, but not for all cards. Those who were not granted an extension should receive a notification requesting them to replace the plastic card with a new one at any bank branch.

'The pension card cannot be digital; it can only be plastic. To access funds in the future, a card reissue is necessary,' he explained.

Regarding the possibility of reissuing in online mode, he advised calling the contact center from a financial number at: 0800210800. Also, if possible, he recommended visiting the most convenient bank branch.

At 'Oschadbank', it was clarified that due to the restrictions related to martial law, those whose card validity was not extended must visit any bank branch to obtain a new card. Pension cards cannot be digital; therefore, the replacement is for plastic cards. Clients are advised to call the provided number or visit the nearest branch if possible.
