Ukrainian Armed Forces strike Russian aircraft at Savasleyka airfield: what is known.


The Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a nighttime strike on an airfield in Russia, resulting in damage to two enemy aircraft. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the attack was carried out by units of the Special Operations Forces in cooperation with other parts of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The Savasleyka airfield was targeted because Russian troops conduct attacks on Ukrainian territory from there, using MiG-31K aircraft to carry 'Dagger' missiles.
According to preliminary data, two enemy aircraft were damaged (likely MiG-31 and Su-30/34).
